What to Expect in Your First Sessions
Your first session will be a 90-minute new patient consultation, consisting of an in-depth interview between you and me. During this appointment, I will:
Learn about what brings you to therapy
Discuss your symptoms and personal history
Ask some sensitive but necessary questions to gain a deeper understanding of your situation and how best I can help
Your second and third sessions will be 60 minutes each and will continue the assessment process.
In your third session, I will present my clinical formulation—a comprehensive review of:
Key observations from our interviews
Your case history and symptoms
How these factors are connected
This formulation will help determine the best treatment recommendations tailored to your unique needs.

I am an advanced competency therapist in Dynamic Deconstructive Psychotherapy (DDP)—a structured 12-month treatment designed for individuals struggling with:
Borderline personality disorder
Suicidal thoughts and behaviors
Chronic depression and anxiety
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Eating disorders
Dissociation
Alcohol and drug dependence
Research suggests that individuals with these conditions often have difficulty processing emotionally intense experiences, struggle with self-identity, and find it challenging to form authentic, fulfilling relationships.
If you’re wondering whether DDP might be the right treatment for you, I would be happy to discuss your options, please contact me!
